JAPAN: Fresh Salmon Imports by Air Continued Decreasing in May
According to the Ministry of Finance's customs statistics, salmon and trout imported by air freight in May fell 20% year-on-year, as it did in April, due to the spread of the new coronavirus. Among them, the mainstay Norwegian Atlantic salmon has continued to decline by more than 30%. The unit price was generally sluggish, analyzed Suisan Keizai.
