Crab Poachers Design New Schemes for Illegal Activities in Russia

Crab poachers in the Russian Far East are designing new schemes for illegal exports of domestic crab to foreign markets, according to recent statements of analysts of Russian Rosrybolovstvo and the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to a spokesman for Ilya Shestakov, head of Rosrybolovstvo, the majority of crab poachers have started to use transport ships for illegal deliveries of their catch in recent months.

According to Shestakov’s spokesman, this scheme successfully works, as Japanese and South Korean Coast Guard..
