Grieg Seafood to Sell Scottish Operations, Introduce Plan to Improve Future Performance 

In Greig Seafood’s third-quarter fiscal report, the company announced it will be aiming for a sale of its Scotland operations, “when the timing is right.” The company previously announced it would cease operations on the Isle of Skye in the region.

Greig’s CEO Andreas Kvame noted that the third quarter was “challenging” for the company. He noted COVID-19’s impact on price in all markets and operational issues out of the ordinary on the Isle of Skye, mentioning jellyfish in the water causing high mortality rates, low harvest weights and poor quality...
